After a quick shopping trip at good ol target, I got her a set of really cut Hello Kitty pjs (she loooves pjs) and a really cute activity book. It has tons of stickers, mazes, coloring pages, and it's in the shape of a pink sparkly purse. I hope she will like it! My mil just bought her a cute gift - it was a bag full of all sorts of pink things. Hair ties, calculator, water bottle, you name it. If it was pink, she had it. And of course it came in a pink tote bag.</p> <p>We got her a pink sleeping bag, pink camping chair, and tinkerbell flashlight. But that's because we go camping together every year.... Such a fun age to shop for.</p> <p>Right now she LOVES horses, so anything horse related. Barbies, American Girl dolls, polly pockets, arts, crafts projects, books they can read on their own (first grade), cute clothes (my sister is so into clothes now!), fun hair accessories, DVDs (like princesses like the pp said!!) etc... Oh some little girls are really into music at this age - like Justin Bieber or Kid Bopz.</p> <p>Oh! and she loves wiki stix - they are pretty fun! </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/gifts-for-a-6-year-old-girl#post-265946 Tue, 21 Aug 2012 17:37:50 +0000 tysonja 265946@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>I think a great gift for kids of all ages ( boys and girls) are art supplies...they are great for creativity and imagination, and since they are the sort of thing that "runs out" with use, no one can really have too many :) </p> <p>Along with the traditional paints, markers, crayons, big paper, canvases, consider things like: beading kits, modeling clay, shrinky dinks, casting sets, blank books, stamp sets, t shirt transfers, fabric paint/markers, glass paint, etc! </p> <p>It might be fun to make her a little art kit with a few canvases (small and big --- kids will be impressed by the big 'grown up' canvas hehe), paint and brush, odds and ends she can use to make a 'mixed media' art piece... Ex. Feathers, scrapbook paper, photos, postcards, paint chips, glitter, anything you could glue onto a canvas! </p> <p>:) now I have the itch to go shopping... When she was aroudn six is about the time she became CRAZY about Littlest Pet shop. Which is honestly a toy she still loved to play with. So many different sets and animals to choose from.
