We use Berdie as her NN and my parents call her Bee. I like that it gives her options as she grows, she can stick with Berdie or switch to Bee, Bette, Etta, Bertie, Bernie, Nat or really any B/N/D/T combination and the full name is beautiful when she’s a teenager/adult (obviously, I don’t think it’s an old lady name).
