I really like Evelyn Willow, it flows nicely. I like the first option too, though -- I love both names so it all sounds nice to me!

If you both love Evelyn I'd stick with that for a first name. I do think that Willow Evelyn has a better flow..... but you'll barely be saying her middle name so I don't think that matters as much as loving the first name that you use all the time.

@Mrs. Jacks: I knew a rather terrible woman named Willa, so Willow is the option. Also, I love plant names. Willows are both strong and graceful, so it seems like a pretty good name for a girl.

You could still honor Will with Willa which I love as much or more than Willow... And Evelyn is obviously a keeper as a first name!

DH and I have more or less agreed on Evelyn (Bethany is a back-up - DH doesn't like it quite as much.) I'd really like to get Willow into the name, too. (Someone who was like a big brother/protective uncle to me was named Will, and William is a no go for a boy. Our first girl's middle name, Charlotte, is also after a male friend who shared his name with my crazy ex.) Our last name sounds like Hoagie.

Willow Evelyn
Evelyn Willow
Evelyn.... ???

Suggestions for a middle name are welcome!

(We're on our first and the gender scan is tomorrow, so this may be a moot point.)
