I'm a SAHM and when I exclusively pumped I would give my LO a bottle of the last pump session. I never wrote down my pump times when storing milk. My LO seemed satisfied with his bottles, and I never noticed him needing more milk/calories in the evenings.

I don't exclusively pump, so this may not be helpful. I mix all of my pumped milk for the day so that the fat is evenly distributed. Calories are calories no matter when they get them. Plus, I don't want to have to keep up with "morning" bottles and "afternoon" bottles.

Hi all, I know from reading Mrs. Bee's post that your breastmilk gets fattier towards the afternoon. Since I am exclusively pumping, should I be giving my LO the fattier milk during the afternoon/evenings? Does it make a difference?
