@scg00387: no nursing ! He is always full after the 4 oz. I often wonder how much he gets from nursing .... I seriously doubt he gets 4 oz at each feeding !

@coacheswife123: Is that 4 oz + nursing?? or only the 4 oz??

same question@chopsuey119 ... surely that is just 6 oz (no nursing)... right!!

I have no clue what he takes in via le boobs - I don't want to overfill him by offering too much!

@scg00387: Lately I've been nursing all day and giving my LO a bottle before bed time (don't want him to go on a bottle strike).
Today he got 6 ounces. And I nursed him a bit maybe an hour later.
He always drinks around 6-8 ounces before bedtime and has been sleeping through the night since he was 4 weeks old or so. He's 12 weeks old!

We do a 4 oz bottle (7 wks) around 7:30 and put him down. If he is still awake an hr or so later and won't go down I nurse him to sleep !

Both LO and I have been sick for a few days and I feel like my supply has dipped - and his night sleeps seem shorter as a result of it. Tonight I gave him 2 oz of pumped milk after he nursed and he slurped it up in a hot minute - normally he hates bottles if he's getting them during the day from DH and I'm gone so I was shocked!

If you give pumped milk before bedtime, how much do you give? If it helps him sleep.. maybe I should do it all the time!

Thoughts?
