Now, since I only have one drink or less and he's not a newborn (though doc said it was fine even then), I will feed him even with some alcohol in the milk. I know that is controversial but my doctor said it was fine. That being said, they also told me that if I drink it with food and am well hydrated, drinking one glass of wine at a slow to moderate pace is not going to have any detrimental effect on LO if she needs to feed within that 30 - 90 minute window. </p> <p>I still tend to err on the side of caution but if I needed to feed or pump during that time, I wouldn't worry too much about it, nor would I dump the milk.
