If planning on bf'ing, does your nursing pillow of choice fit in the smaller chair with you?

I think the bigger chair would be tough to get comfy in for those long newborn nursing sessions, I liked Having both armrests. I bought a smaller glider thy would fit with the rest of our decor but honestly with all the spit up its absorbed, even with me cleaning it, I'm not sure ill want it once we don't need it in his room.

Obviously, no experience here yet... but I think the chair and a half would be too much space if you're going to nurse in it. But that's just me. :) Love them both!

I like the second one better because it has a higher back (or it looks that way at least) and would be more comfortable in those first 6 months of exhaustion :)

Does the bigger chair glide, too? If not, I'd take the smaller chair. If yes, the bigger chair.

Also foodnerd is right about story time--we will probably do storytime in my lap well past 2 years old.

I thought the cottage was the most comfortable and almost got it but it was a little too big for our space. I think you could definitely think you could have a less than than two year old in the cottage with you for stories, past that it would be more in your lap. Do you have space in your nursery for either?

If we had room in the nursery I def would have gone with the cottage one. Instead we got a traditional wooden framed type one bc it had a smaller footprint but I'm a little sad we won't be able to snuggle and read books in it so much.

I really like both the Little Castle chair and a half and the cottage glider.

The main benefit for each is that I think the chair and a half could be used to read stories to our LO when he/she is a toddler while I think the cottage glider could be used in other portions of our home later.

Pictures are below - not in the fabrics we would pick :)
