I felt fine with both but failed the 1-hour and passed the 3-hour. With the 3-hour I was surprised how OK I felt, especially when my numbers came back and the last draw was really, really low compared to the expected/cutoff.

So my OB has all his patients do the two hour test, if you fail no need to do the three hour. Anyway, I felt like crap both times because I had to fast but I passed. I just made sure to have snacks for when I was done!

Same as others, I felt awful and passed with flying colors. Almost immediately when I drank the drink I felt like I was going to vomit and then for most of the day I was shaky and sweaty. Like you, I worried it meant something was wrong, but my level was 85 when the threshold is 130.

I think feeling bad is good! Or at least it’s not a bad thing. I always felt horrible after mine and passed no problem 3x. My ob was unconcerned (since I saw her right before the end) but told me to eat some protein stat.

I nearly passed out after my 1 hr glucose test (my husband had to pick me up and help carry me to the car afterwards.) I felt like I was going to throw up, was shaking, etc. I passed just fine! I have no idea what happened.

Do you think feeling crappy during/after a glucose test (1 hr, particularly) is a good sign or a bad sign?
