@Mrs. Sunshine: Costco has some Kirkland brand chocolate nut bars that are delicious and filling. (Dairy free!) I also like granola, trail mix, and fruit leathers. And cereal!!!

Maybe search around for "whole 30" recipes? Not that you're on the whole 30 diet but that is gluten and dairy free so you might be able to find some different ideas. Some of my favorites are:
Plantain chips
Sweet potato chips
Anything made by larabar

I started Whole30 this month and was worried about this same thing since I was always a huge snacker and snacking is actually discouraged. What I found is that I'm less likely to need a snack during meals if I include fat into my meals. My normal plate will include mostly veggies with a 5 oz or so serving of protein and extra fat in form of a sauce (that't made with olive oil) or some avocado. I'm not necessarily advocating the whole not snacking thing or going on Whole 30 but just pointing out that maybe more fat in your meals could help. Also, I've found paleo blogs/cookbooks extremely helpful

Some of my favorites are:

homemade bars (these were a fav recently:http://www.greenkitchenstories.com/mint-chocolate-power-bars/)

beef jerky and some cherry tomatoes

nut butter and fruit

roasted seaweed with avocado and cucumber

trail mix or roasted nuts

bell peppers with guacamole

smoothies (been doing spinach, frozen mango, almond butter, almond milk and a scoop of collagen peptides for protein)

sometimes I make protein pancakes for my kids in the am and make extra to snack on later.http://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-make-2-ingredient-banana-pancakes-cooking-lessons-from-the-kitchn-218658
I like to add a tablespoon or two of ground flax

I also try to pop a large batch of popcorn in coconut oil each week to have on hand.

I plan on making these recipes this week but haven't tried them out yet!:

I had to eliminate dairy, gluten and soy during LO's first year, so I understand the struggle! As a PP said, the key to feeling satisfied, for me, was to make sure I was eating enough healthy fats. My go-to snack was often those individual packages of nut butter - Justin's brand (although there are many other brands), because they are so portable. They're great either by themselves or on GF toast, with GF chips, bananas, apples, etc. Another go-to snack for me was a half an avocado filled with salsa. On the slightly less healthy side, I went through a ton of chips, GF granola, and dark chocolate.

@Mrs. Sunshine: The problem for me is that if I go too long between meals, I get really hungry. So when it is a mealtime, I shovel the food in and overeat because it takes a bit for the feeling of fullness to register. So to counteract that, I eat smaller meals more frequently and thus, am better able to control hunger/fullness.

I was going to suggest nuts, hummus and eggs. I do better when I eat 6 small meals through out the day, rather than 3 big ones and snacks. Have you tried that? I also have to plan my food for the day, otherwise, I don't eat the right things.

If you can eat nuts, then definitely peanut butter with various things (GF crackers, GF bread, celery, etc). I was on a crazy elimination diet for most of my son's 1st year and the key to me not being hungry, etc. was plenty of fat.

I also ate a lot of fruity candy like Skittles, fruit snacks, etc.. (not healthy, but whatever)

Hard boiled eggs, potato chips/sweet potato chips/veggie chips (like kettle chips!). Hummus.

I would also splurge on Enjoy Life snacks like their cookies and stuff. If you have Aldi, they have knock-off brand of the Enjoy Life soft baked cookies and granola bars and they are good and cheap (top 8 allergen free).

I just made these protein bars recently and are really filling:
- 1.5 cups rolled oats (blended into flour)
- 1/2 cup hemp hearts & flax seed
- 1 cup rice krispies
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 cup nut butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (i used less)
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- handful of mini chocolate chips (optional)

(mix first four ingredients, then add the rest. press into a pan and smooth out. put in the freezer for 15 minutes, then take out and cut into squares. store in an airtight container in the freezer).

I also like to roast chickpeas with some olive oil and salt, or make a sockeye salmon salad and eat with rice crackers. Boiled eggs are great too!
