My best resource is honestly Google and a good filter for the results! I've found that on any forum I can learn a lot from the hard core IFers who've BTDT and gone through tons of treatments (and are a bit jaded).

@Happygal: My RE is a stickler about lining and feels the lining type should match where you are in your cycle. This girl went to my clinic and wrote a blog post about it:

@Happygal: there's a fertility clinic that always pops up when I google... they seem to have good resources http://www.shadygrovefertility.com/resource-center

Other than that - I usually come here and ask the IFers!

@Happygal: Nope, I haven't really found a reliable resource besides my ND and some HB ladies :P

It's really frustrating always being directed to parenting sites. It's like the blind leading the blind, with the exception of people like @spaniellove and @Mrs.Someone. I sometimes use Google Scholar to find medical papers and studies when the issue lends itself to that. I can't think of any great unbiased professional sites.

@Mrs.Someone: you're right about that! When I first started charting, if my response was similar to SpanielLove's or other experienced members, I felt proud. Google often takes me to other parenting sites. I'm super cautious about the things I read in most forums. . .are there some professional sites you like? Or ND ones?

@Happygal: I think @spaniellove is just about the best resource I know ;) Otherwise, I just Google around until I'm satisfied with the answers.

When I was trying to learn about the ideal uterine lining thickness, it seems like doctors all have different standards and protocols. Mine likes to see at least 6 mm, but I've seen others require 8 or more. My doctor hasn't brought up medication to build up my uterine lining, while others mention doing the opposite.

Trying to learn about uterine linings leads me to this question: what are your go-to resources for learning about all this? I'd like to be informed and knowledgeable about my options, but I'm not sure where the best place is to turn to.
