My cycles were terribly irregular and could be up to 42-45 days long. Now they are like 30/31 days long and pretty regular. So I'd highly recommend! I went on for about 7 years. </p> <p>Coming off, I took the last active pill of my pack, got my period. It was normal. After that my cycles have been: 33, 34, 35, 35, 39, 32 days long. I spot sometimes. My cramps were worse and bleeding heavier, but I got pregnant on our first try. Everybody reacts differently. BUT once they regulated, they got pretty regular and long (32-35 day cycles) My AF symptoms are a little worse than when I was on BC, but not as bad as prior to BC. I also had really bad, heavy periods with lots of cramps. I was on one pill or another for about 8 years before coming off in April. Since then it's been pretty regular, and lighter with much less in the way of cramps, so I am really happy. I went on to help regulate AF because she was visiting way too often and staying way too long.</p> <p>Mine weren't always crazy. They were "normal" then the above problem, then "normal", then problem again (which is when I finally went on). </p> <p>For anyone who went on to help regulate, how out of whack were your cycles going off? Did they kind of normal out after being on the pill?</p> <p> I might cry if I have multiple visits per month again! </p>
