My VP came over (he's a guy) and told me he still got choked up sometimes leaving his kids and they're 14 and 12. I thought that was really nice of him to say. </p> <p>I spent some time talking to the other new moms and they said they both cried the whole first week. I never noticed, but I'm not usually in the office (I go to clients' offices a lot). It made me feel a lot better knowing that I wasn't being crazy. </p> <p>It was wonderful to come home to LO. There are two other new moms in my office of 20 so I'm in good company. He's with my mom so that's reassuring. It's hard to be away but it feels nice to be getting back into work. I have tons of pictures for my desk and lunch plans with my friends... But I'm going to miss LO. We nurse on demand and lately he's been attached 24/7. It's going to be so weird to not have him with me all the time. </p> <p>I'm really afraid people are going to ask about him and that I'm going to cry. I know going to work is the best decision for our family, but I'm going to miss him!!! </p>
