@alphagam84: Nope...

Night 2: Fed yogurt an hour before bed, slept 4 hours (YAY!) then 3, and 2. Fingers crossed it's not a one night thing!

Is there sugar in the yogurt you gave him? Maybe that's waking him up?

Night 1: he ate yogurt about 30 minutes before bed. He went down no issue but woke up 45 minutes later and took me about 20 mins to get him to settle again. I have noticed in the past when I fed him close to bedtime he would wake within an hour but need to keep trying.

Let's hope within a week or two this all sorts itself out. Mama is tiiiiiiired.

@DesertDreams88: he won't take a bottle at all and I am considering getting a pump to try it. I just know this crazy fussy guy might not take it. He drinks a ton of water from cups but I have no idea how to even get him to nurse on me longer.

I love all the suggestions above, but in relation to milk / formula, could you pump and give him a big bottle? My LO falls asleep with nursing, but stays awake enough with a breastmilk bottle. I like being able to "see" he drinks enough before bed.

@babycanuck: oatmeal is very filling. you can blend the plain regular traditional oatmeal into a powder first before cooking it into a porridge

Definitely try yogurt.
I'd do a Greek yogurt with lots of protein.

Yogurt is my son's all time favorite food. We alternate between pouches, drinkable yogurts, and yogurt with a spoon. At 2 he is very independent but will allow me to feed him a yogurt as a bedtime snack. :) Other consistent favorites are bananas and cheese.

Banana chunks or plain Greek yogurt flavored with a little fruit purée?

Ok since 9m old LO is still struggling with sleep I need to try something. He won't take formula and doesn't nurse for long.

What are some good options I can give him before bed that will fill him up (and hopefully help him sleep longer than 2 hours at a time)??
