I read similar reviews of What to Expect and skipped it. I read "What to Expect Before You're Expecting" which was actually helpful. There's a large chunk on fertility problems and miscarrying which I skipped (for now) but otherwise was good. I borrowed "What to Expect" from the library and might hold off on it... Be Prepared was also in my cart but it seemed to be more about the 1st year whereas Dude, You're Gonna Be a Dad has a nice section about pregnancy. Once he reads that and I'm farther along I'll probably buy Be Prepared as I've heard great things!</p> <p>For myself I ordered the Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy.
