@Pink Champagne: honsetly, I feel like they got more/better use that way. And I didnt love them to begin with so I didn't mind cutting the feet off. If I had actual sewing skills I would have hemmed them and made them look nice. That didn't happen either!

Love Hanna Anderson!
I have found that Osh Kosh runs leaner, so sizing up seems to fit well in that its not as wide as Carter's.
American Apparel seems to be leaner as well.
@prettylizy: genius idea! I might have to try that!

Confession: I took some of her cheaper sleepers that I didn't like that much and cut the feet off!

I love Tea and Peekaboo Beans for my long and tall baby. Actually I love them also for my normal sized kid, too. I think that I prefer stretchy things in general to give a better overall fit.

We have one very long and lean baby! The cloth diapers help, but slimmer clothes are definitely harder to find for little ones! We used hanna anderson pj's that are footless because we get more wear out of them in the long run and they run slimmer. We also direct the grandmas (who really cannot be stopped!) to BabyGap for their skinny jeans and pants. Those work so well on her because of the adjustable waist, still leave room for the CDs and don't fall down when she crawls. Other brands that have worked well for us are: Tea Collection, Peek, and Zutano (I told you, the grandma's can't be stopped!)

Another tall baby here and another vote for Carter's. I also like the Gymboree Gymmies, they are very tall and skinny.

@Bluebonnet: I agree on the Hanna Andersson pjs! Baby isn't here yet, but the HA sleepers look SO LONG hanging next to anything in the same size range in the closet (and slimmer too!)

Carter's are the only ones that my long and skinny girl can fit into. She's 4 motnhs and already in 6 or 6-9 month due to length. Sometimes they look a little big but for the most part they work.

@wildcardinside: I have noticed that too but we've just sized up when that happens. She fits generally in most 9 month clothes but we recently bought her 12 month sleepers and they seem to be the perfect length (although a bit big). We also got her some 12 month clothes and they're big now but they'll last her a while.

@Wildcardinside: I agree - the Carter's sleepers seem to be just a wee bit too short in the legs.

I also have a peanut - she is still in her 3 month clothes at 5 months.

H&M has nice skinny stuff. My daughter swims in most of her clothes, but H&M fits her perfect. Their sizing is nice too.. 2-4 month stuff fits her perfect at 3 months old. Plus, they have the cutest stuff. I sometimes wish I had a boy instead when we go there because I fall in love with all the little cardigans and letterman jackets!

DS is long and lean so I'm having a hard time finding some clothes that fit him, especially his sleepers or any outfit that is a one piece with feet. From what I understand, you do want pj's to not be too big.

He's 11w and has grown out of his 0-3 mo sleepers in the length. However, he is swimming in the 3-6 mo clothes. He has one pair from Gymboree that is 3-6 mo that fit perfectly so I was going to look there. Does anyone else know of any good brands that might also work? TIA
