Love our light gray! I think it's called Sterling. It's soo neutral and a true gray instead of it going blue-ish!

@mediagirl: look at Benjamin Moore edgecomb gray. It reads warmer than the cooler grays. We have it in several rooms and oak-ish floors. It really place nicely with everything in all rooms and really changes depending one how much light a room gets. It's lovely. My mom has it in a few rooms in her house with oak trim and it looks great.

Ours looks similar to @Mrs D: We love it! With white trim I can do pretty much anything the mood strikes just by changing accessories.

I prefer warmer colors, I know it's super popular right now, but I'm not a fan of gray for our house. We have a cooler tan in one bedroom, and it really makes the room look different.

@MaryM: I love the accessible beige in our house. The previous owners used Benjamin Moore Cedar Key for their beige room attempts. While it looks good, it didn't have the depth that Accessible Beige has. We left one room in Cedar Key.

I second @josina: with Revere Pewter. It's a wonderful neutral gray. And if you think it's too dark or are looking for a color to go with it, it's also great mixed at 50%.

I find any light gray that actually looks light gray on the chip is usually wayyy to cool and ends up looking baby blue on the walls.

We did accessible beige in our house when we staged. It was nice. Not exciting, but nice. In some rooms it looked more gray than beige though.

ETA: Since you mention selling, accessible beige is what the stagers recommended to us.

SW Accessible Beige. We painted our new house in it except for bedrooms. With the grey/gray, please don't. The previous owners painted our house with everything in grey down to the doors and trims. They took wide bright spaces and made them look small and cramped. Even they noticed the error of it and repainted a couple of rooms in beige to increase traffic to sell it. The other house we considered in the same subdivision painted everything in crisp white.

We are going to be painting pretty much every room in our house that isn't a bedroom this winter. I need a good, neutral color that will be good for resale when we decide to do that but that is slightly nicer than your standard contractor beige (which we have now). We will be painting the kitchen, family room, hallway and stairwell. We also need to paint the loft. Since these are all common rooms, we were thinking of keeping the paint the same for all. Hello, 5 gallon bucket of paint. :)

What are your favorite house colors right now?
