yes! We did BLW weaning and at first LO would eat everything. The closer she got to 2, the pickier she got. At one point the only vegetable she would eat was roasted broccoli. In the past two weeks she's started to eat more variety (she's 26 months).

@regberadaisy: yes. She will eat edamame (she will pretty much eat most veggies) but getting her to eat a meat (she used to love meat!!!!) is a struggle. At least edamame is full of protein.

This is M right now too. And A is being picky too. Getting them to eat protein is a struggle, every night. Thankfully, there are still some givens that I know both will eat. They will attack fish, fish tofu, fish balls and pasta w/meat sauce like nobody's business.

Did your once good eater turn into a picky eater as they got older? My lo used to attack her meals like they were going to run away if she didn't eat them immediately. Now she looks at her plate and 90% of the time says, "I don't like that" and points at at least one thing on her plate. Grrr!! We still make her take a bite but man it's frustrating considering she used to eat everything!!

Right now she is on a kick where she won't eat anything that is wrapped. Like, she won't eat wontons or egg rolls, pierogies or meat pies.
