Everyone's been asking lately when we're going to cut it. He has this adorable little baby mullet in the back because when his hair grew in thicker, it was longer in the back and shorter in the front! The back curls like crazy into these fat little cherub curls. I love them!</p> <p>Well we were talking and I said maybe <i>we</i> should trim his hair. You know, let the front catch up to the back! DH agreed with my point, not giving him a full haircut because he doesn't need it, he's still just a baby (sorry, we're clinging to the delusion at 18 months). Well today after goi outside I gave H a bath and decided - let's do this thing. I grabbed a pair of safety scissors and trimmed it. Almost with the first snip I regretted it. Then I thought, hey cool, I can have a lock of his hair! And then when I finished and checked out my handiwork, I wanted to cry. Not because I had messed up! Because I had done a good job. The curls are gone, it's all nice and even, and <i>he looks like a little man</i>.</p> <p>I could die right now. First haircut, turned out great, I hate it. And DH has no idea that I've done it.
