Then hubby came home early and my dad came over to swap cars with us (my parents are letting me use their very nice SUV since they never use it) so we vacuumed and cleaned it then moved everything around (car seat, stroller, etc). Then we jus relaxed and caught up on shows. </p> <p>Saturday we had date night! We went out to a nice dinner (salmon belly tartare, baby octopus with chorizo and squid ink, marrow burger for me and duck for hubby)...and of course dessert (flourless chocolate cake with pastachio fluff topped with ganache). Saturday night I hosted a CAbi shopping party (one of the cousins is a consultant) while the boys went out to Main Event. They served so much good food. Love 1st birthdays!</p> <p>Sunday after the shop we went to Taste of Addison, and ate way too much food. The shrimp ceviche and pot roast sliders were the bomb. The $2 32oz strawberry lemonade from Chili's was the best $2 spent (vs $2 for a bottle of water or 16.9oz bottled beverage). This baby is training me well! I was up at 7am on both days. Saturday, DH was at work til the early afternoon, so I took care of some stuff around the house, got DONUTS for bfast! :) and shopped for some maternity clothes!</p> <p>After DH got home, we had lunch outside at Panera and then went to English gardens to buy some veggie plants. We planted for about an hour and then DH watched the Tiger's game while I went to see a friend before a quick grocery trip and then chicken tacos and guac for dinner! Husband took me out to dinner Friday night and then I watched him work for most of Saturday and Sunday. He stripped, primed and re-painted our metal patio set, painted a couple of planters for me, planted my garden for the year (in pots this year) and helped me hang up some decorations in the nursery. I cleaned the nursery (scrubbing and vacuuming) and hung up the rest of the decorations. It's finally done! :) Otherwise, I spent my weekend on the couch or lazyboy reading a couple of books.
