Random objects no longer work. We have an old ipod touch that we loaded with games. That keeps her occupied for awhile and then throws it across the car screaming. I am not sure what people used to do! We keep ours in the car and never take it out. Straws, an empty water bottle, her play phone, and old camera, and little raisin boxes also work for us.
