We recently bought one off Amazon that I'm very happy with. It is very sturdy and has rounded corners. We got one with glass doors so that when LO is mobile he/she won't be able to mess with the buttons or wires on the components. We may have to add childproof things to the doors at some point but it was important to me to have them in place. I would link it to you but I don't remember what it was called. Check out Amazon though!

I know John and Sherry of YHL turned a dresser into a TV stand not too long ago! Even with a step by step guide, so it may not be too hard!!

My tv stand is probably not the most baby friendly, but I will have to cross that bridge when we get there!

We need some kind of tv stand. I want to say our flat screen is around 36 inches and we need a place for the cable box and Internet router. So many of the traditional tv stand options seem dangerous for a house with a baby! I like the idea of turning a dresser into a tv stand but not sure I'm up to a diy project eight now. Any ideas?

ETA unfortunately, it would be difficult to walk mount our tv because it's in a corner near the fireplace.
