But my absolute favorite thing wasn't necessarily a "perk" - when I was at my gym heading to the locker room at 8 or 9 months pregnant, a teenage boy (probably 16 or 17) looked at me and said "Way to go" or something like that. People offer to carry stuff for me all the time. At our airport one TSA worker moved me to the regular X-ray machine line even though the first one had pointed me to the scatter one, and said, "You're over here, mama," which I thought was so sweet -- I was 15 weeks at the time. And they gave me the closest parking space to the building at work! A major perk if you are shopping after work with a little one! They spoke very little English so the cashier didn't really understand what was going on until they pointed to my belly! I was probably about 7 months at that point. As soon as I walked into the pet store, the clerk ran up to me, asked what I needed, picked up the food, and walked it out to the car. We got on a bus on the upper east side and about 3 different Grandmas in their late 60s-early 70s jumped up and demanded that I sit down. If I rest my hand on the top of said rotundness, I definitely look pregnant. I'm stuck in an airport where there are a million delays so it's packed. I was standing and layer my hand on my tummy without realizing it. Before I knew it this nice man jumped up and offered me his seat. And let me tell you, it was so nice to sit! Very grateful, achey preggie here!</p> <p>Have you/did you receive any pregnancy perks? </p>
