@hilsy85: I dont think its really that wide. Maybe a bit wider than the Diono we have but not terrible. Its really just wide on the seat because of the cup holders. Sitting next to it, the actual belt path area is narrow.

@looch: thanks! We went with the frontier--it looked like it had higher height limits as @catgirl mentioned, and DS is pretty tall. An easy install is also never a bad thing!

@regberadaisy: yep, we do!

I prefer the Frontier because it has click tight and we need the belt install now that my son is over the weight limit for LATCH. I have no issue with the Nautilus, it's actually easier for my son to do the straps in that seat and they don't get as tangled.

@catgirl: excellent, thanks! Like wide enough that one of those plus a peg perego convertible in the back would make it impossible for a passenger to sit back there?

Agree that the Frontier with the click tight is REALLY easy to install. Like totally different than any other seat you've installed before. My DD loves hers.

The frontier has higher limits, although not all kids will need them. The frontier with clicktight is going to be insanely easy to install. They are both pretty wide. Here is a comparison of them:

We checked out both and tried both in our car. We thought the Nautilus looked more comfortable and of course it's a lot cheaper. But when we tried them in the car we decided to go with the Frontier. For one, it gave us a little more space. I have long legs and I'm claustrophobic and I like to sit as far back as I can. The Frontier has a lower profile. The other big selling point was the easy install. DH struggled a little bit with the Nautilus and the Frontier was amazingly easy for him to do.

We have the Nautilus and no complaints! It's super comfortable for DD1 and easy to install, etc.

I think @looch has both.

Any recommendations between these two seats? We will be switching baby sis into our convertible seat and moving LO1 (3.5) into a 5 point harnessed booster. I saw that these two were recommended/get great reviews, but have no sense of the difference between them (other than price). If you have either, what do you like/not like about it?
