@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: it's jenny lind, but gray (good memory!). we actually don't have space for a chair in there since it's my office and a has a huge wardrobe in there for our clothes too! so the rocker is in the living room and i either nurse her there or in my bed. even when we were rocking to sleep for months, i could rock in the living room and then move her into the cosleeper when she was out. we live in a REALLY small space. :)

@birdofafeather: its such a nicer looking glider with a cute baby in it! If I recall correctly, R's crib is gold painted Jenny Lind? What type of chair or glider do you have in the nursery?

I looooved the look of it. But I tried it in store and it wasn't the right fit for me. I'm only 5'4" so maybe that's why, but it didn't glide as much as I wanted it to. But it was my #1 backup if I couldn't find something used.

i have the gray graham chair (it wasn't out in blue last year when i got mine) and i love it. LO is 6 months old and i use it multiple times a day and since it's in our living room, lots of other people use it as well. my mom waited for a sale and got it then as a gift for me.

ETA: here's a photo of R with the glider! we use it for her monthly pics. :)

I haven't started nursing yet, but when we were looking at gliders I purposely only looked at ones with wide, cushiony arms on the advice of friends who have BTDT. The arms on the Graham don't look comfy to me at all, though I do love the overall look of it. But I think utility and comfort is probably more important in a nursery setting. We ended up with one from Best Chairs that retails for around the same price as the Graham (though we bought a floor model so it ended up being quite a bit cheaper).

I love West Elm. Have you tried their Graham Glider? Was it comfy? Were the arms high enough and substantial for easy nursing or feeding?

The glider comes in blue or grey. Starting price is just $800, which seems reasonable based on other modern rocker or gliders I have seen. Do you have a color preference? The room is light grey.

Edit: the grey glider featured in a room for a little boy and little girl.
