Up til a few weeks ago she was picking DD up from school and taking her to swim lessons. Both grandmas watch our DS 1 day a week. My mom takes him to a music class, my mil takes him to a gym class and to the library. Should be interesting when DS2 arrives in June! Now she also does pick up at daycare that's 2 minutes away. My mom doesn't drive at all. So we have to do all the drops off and pick ups. All I've asked of her is to try to lump her quarterly doctor's appointments on the same day to reduce the length of car seat time since her doctor offices are 45-60 minutes from where we live. Maybe to the library, classes, etc.?</p> <p>My mom has been our primary care since I went back to work after DS1. It took a while for her (and I) to feel comfortable in the beginning, but now three years and another baby later; she readily takes them out (if weather permits). She also sometimes takes DS1 to preschool. </p>
