My mom takes him for errands around the house, if she has to pick up my niece and nephew from school, and to the park. She doesn't venture too far with him and doesn't do any formal classes.

She did have a very small accident with him literally down the street from our house. It was not her fault and there was minor damage. She was only going about 5 mph. We were thankful it was very small. It's hard because you can't control everything! She is a cautious driver but others on the road aren't. I also really don't expect her to be stuck at home all day!

I'm a WAHM with Grandmacare, and she doesn't feel comfortable driving with her, so the only activities they go to, I have to drop them off and pick them up. But she usually takes her for a 2-3 hour stroller walk to the park every day.

Slightly different situation - my brother is my child care. He takes him outside and to the park on nice days. But he doesn't have his license yet, so he only takes him to the park that's within walking distance. Even if he did have his license, he's only 17 so I probably wouldn't allow him to drive my son yet. But I am pretty cool with other family driving him like my older sister and parents.

DD is at grandma's Monday to Thursday. I doubt they will be taking her anywhere. If anything, DH will probably pick her up earlier so they can enjoy outdoor activities (he works from home).

She does, yes. We have a weekly session at the speech therapist that she shuttles him to. My son will be attending a nature center camp and it's only from 9-12. They may also be going to some other activities, depending upon what i can schedule.

Both my parents are also fine with driving my son around,

Do your mom/mils take your LO to activities?

Now that ds is 15 months and the weather is finalllly starting to warm up a bit, I think I am going to ask her to take him to the library (and she already can't wait to take him to the park)...

There are gymboree classes she could take him to, too, but I feel like that might be too much at this point.

At least the park and library are with a few miles from her house. (I do worry about others driving LO, even though she has a few times before back/forth from our houses).
