@scg00387: I went back 2 weeks ago and it was almost gone. She told me to wait 2 weeks before doing any *ahem* physical. DH is sick so we haven't "tested" it yet.

@MusicaV: I had two spots develop after a second repair to my stitches; it was diagnosed at 7 weeks pp and hasn't been there at 6 weeks pp when my repair was checked the first time. Had it cut and silver nitrates today- the numbing shots were awfully painful! Going it doesn't grow back like I've read it can :( would love to feel "normal" again. I see you posted this a bit ago- did you heal completely?

I didn't have one, but I think that's what the ped called it when my son's umbilical cord stump didn't completely heal for weeks and weeks. We also had to use silver nitrate.

Has anybody else developed a granuloma after stitching from a tear or episiotomy? MY OB determined today that I have one - three months PP! Just curious if you had one, how long it took before you were "diagnosed." My treatment was pretty easy, silver nitrate done in her office. I have to go back to make sure she got it all, but I'm glad she figured out why the internal exam was so painful!
