I used GSE for thrush as well - Its a natural antiseptic so it wouldn't hurt to try.

How old is your LO? I have read that if your sensitive to citrus you shouldn't use it. Has your LO had citrus yet?

We're dealing with a mild case of thrush. There are no signs of it other than a little pain on my end and a little diaper rash. I've been treating us with grapefruit seed extract to kill the yeast, and so far it has been working well.

LO is also battling an ongoing skin infection near his ears and cheek. Topical antibiotics hasn't been working, and it pains me to see it get worse. We tried oral antibiotics, which failed big time. He had a horrible reaction to it, and it also introduced thrush into our lives. I was thinking of applying grapefruit seed extract to the infected spots to see if it will help. I'm getting desperate, and the cream is failing on us. Does anyone have any experience?

Have you used grapefruit seed extract before? I honestly had never heard of it until researching about thrush. It's pretty amazing.
