I'm thankful for my amazing husband who is my rock. He doesn't really cook, but last night he made me dinner since I was feeling too exhausted and having really awful reflux. And I'm thankful to be pregnant, even through all the discomfort! :)

I am so thankful for my DH! I couldn't get through these rough newborn days without him and his support. Also my mom, who is always offering to babysit so DH and I can get away for an hour and have us time. So thankful for our sweet little girl, even when she is a crying mess!

I'm really thankful for my DH & immediate family. Dh does so much for me and around our house that I don't know how I'd get anything done without him. Our immediate family is always there to talk to about anything or even if we just need to borrow a cup of sugar.

I'm also incredibly thankful for this baby. I know a lot of people have it harder than I do and I don't want to take this little life for granted before it's even here.

I'm thankful for an amazing daycare provider who called just to tell me something cute LO did today, amazing parents, a DH who puts up with me when I get overwelmed (aka cranky), a daughter who's smile lights up my world, spring/warm weather, a puppy who cuddles, supportive in laws, and the fact that I have lived another great year (reflecting as I turn 28 next week.)

@Bookworm: aww, that's really sweet.

I am grateful for so much. Most of all for my LO. She smiled so sweetly this morning, even though she was up much of the night coughing. She totally makes me day, everyday. I am so blessed to be her mom! I am grateful for the warm sunshine outside... I can't wait for it to really feel like spring. I am grateful for my family, who are always there for me.

Mmm... nonfat mocha... I need to get one of those so I can be grateful for it too! :)

This morning I was so incredibly thankful for my husband. I couldn't sleep and was up at 1am just bawling in self-pity because I was so uncomfortable, and he sat up, got me milk w/honey, and watched a bit of a movie with me until I fell asleep. That's love! :)

I've been thinking recently about how easy it is to dwell on what's hard and negative. Whether the sorrow of TTC, the waiting game of adoption, the sleeplessness of a newborn, the trials of toddlers. We all have hard things to share. But what gets me through so many days is a deliberate desire to cultivate a sense of gratitude.

Today I'm thankful for my little one's dark brown eyes gazing into mine, each new developmental milestone, nonfat mochas, family that calls just to say hi, warm weather during the day with the prospect of snow tonight, new recipes to cook this week.

What are you thankful for?
