@Mrs. Carrot: I’m sorry about your birthday week!! But you make a good point. I’ve been grumpy missing endless work bc DS has had every illness you can name the last 20 - sorry 2 lol - months of winter. But I am also grateful for a job where I easily have the option to keep him home!!

I'm grateful for:
- My DH, who is great at working on my honey-do's (built me a new shelf last week) and is giving me a night out Saturday with...
- My girlfriends... dinner and country concert, so excited!
- Some more breathing room in our finances after a good tax return
- the opportunity to make extra money with graphic design and photography, two things that I love doing
- Healthy kids!

I love these kinds of posts! Here are a few things I'm grateful for this week:

-We had an evaluation for OT for some sensory issues for my four year old, and for the first time in a long while, I felt like someone really understood my kid and the difficulties we've had, while still appreciating what a great kid she is. I'm excited to get started and see what comes of this next step.

-My younger one's nurturing and kind personality is really starting to shine through and I love to seeing what kind of little person she's turning into.

-A flexible work schedule, and having an outlet for part time work I enjoy

-I've hit a stride with an exercise routine I can actually keep up and (almost) look forward to. I have more energy than I've had in a long time as a result, and I'm feeling so much more like myself.

Love this! I am beyond grateful for:
- My hilarious, ridiculous kids
- My incredibly hands-on husband who does more of the child-rearing than I do
- Two well-paid, interesting, flexible jobs
- A beautiful house that I've been able to decorate this year to make it feel more homey - lots of new houseplants!
- The gross cough/bronchitis I've had for 6 weeks seems to be finally subsiding
- The weather is getting beautiful
- Time off for spring break coming up
- Wonderful friends

The first week of March seems to be cursed somehow. It's my birthday at the start of the month, and usually a very busy work week for me, and for a few years running now, my kid gets sick on exactly this week. This year it's the flu, so I'm finding myself grateful for:

a very flexible work environment for both my husband and I that allows us to keep our daughter home as long as possible and give her time to recover properly (a luxury I know a lot of parents don't have)

and an amazing work team that knew how bummed I was to miss one of my favorite events of the year yesterday, so they sent me pictures and stories and emojis to lift my spirits.

@karenbme: Excellent post!

I am thankful to be financially secure. Both DH and I grew up in households where money was tight, grocery budgets were small, and a great Christmas wasn't a given. We're not swimming in expendable income, but I can go grocery shopping and buy whatever I want. We can sign our kids up for extra curricular activities, or take them to the doctor whenever we feel the need to. The bills are always paid and we have savings and investment accounts. I am so thankful to not have the stress of financial strain on top of the stress of work and raising small children.

I LOVE  posts like these!

I am grateful for the following:
1.) My beautiful children
2.) My caring, understanding, and supportive DH.
3.) My health (and that of my family) ... I state this as a woman with many health disorders and allergies. Things could always be worse than what they are.
4.) Our home
5.) The fact we have a plan (in-process) for still pursuing baby #3 (after over 3 years of secondary infertility).
6.) For the specialists, PAs, and nurses who take great care of me.
7.) My friends and those I am close with on HB (You all know WHO you are. 😉👍)
8.) Living in a nice area that is perfect for raising (and educating) my children.

Hello All. I've been feeling really good lately--I'm getting some really great leadership opportunities at work and feeling both challenged and supported; DH and I are in a groove after a couple of really hard years; and I'm feeling really positive about getting to TTC again after some doctor mandated time off. My life hasn't been easy recently, but I'm really thankful that I have a partner who is here for me and that our relationship has been able to weather the stress of 3 pregnancy losses in less than a year, a job that I love with a mentor who has done more for my professional growth than I can possibly say here, and the strength and support to pull myself out of some really dark days in my recent past.

What are you grateful for?
