My grandpa passed away last year and I really think my LO gives her another reason to not be constantly sad. They both love each other sooo much and it warms my heart.</p> <p>My other grandma lives a couple hours away and doesn't see us as often, but I was never her "favorite" (she definitely had favorites). DH's only living grandma lives an hour away, but doesn't show any interest in her grandchildren or great grandchildren. DHs family has this weird dynamic where my late FIL was their favorite. DHs grandma told me she was so glad to finally have a "real" great-grandchild (She's actually like #5). They don't just drop by but they do make a point of seeing them as often as possible. I think they just want to spend as much time with them as they can because who knows how much longer they'll be around? I love that he loves her but it is kind of weird since he doesn't go visit my cousin's LO (3 months older than my LO).</p> <p>Are your grandparents interested in your LO? </p>
