I have an older model that is the true puffer style, with the horizontal stitching and down filling. It came with a self belt, but I'll be honest, I bought the wrong color! Gap is usually my go to but I'm not loving the colors this year (well....I love the cream but my girls would have me covered in berries/paint in no time). I'm looking for a new down puffer vest for fall. I would like it to be a dark jewel tone - navy/olive/burgundy/plum, decent quality, and relatively (ok, quite) slim fitting. I want a fairly traditional "coat" material (I don't want wool/corduroy) that is somewhat water repellent, and don't care about hood vs.no hood. I own a uniqlo ultra light down vest and like it, but was going for something different this time. Furry hoods/fleece linings are fine but not required - I'm looking for a balance of fashion and function.<br /> Thanks for any suggestions of a vest you love (or covet)! </p>
