It does leak sometimes when turned sideways and open on the floor, but I usually only use it for water so it isn't a huge deal. The sippy cup I really like except it leaks milk if it is tipped upside down or banged on the table. It seems to save up some inside the sippy spout once it has been drank from. It's actually really annoying because we give her milk before bed and read stories and she runs around her room and dances around with it and there are milk stains everywhere now. On one hand it almost made it sound like they were saying they conducted more lab testing and found that they were safe and issuing the replacements just to please customers. All in all I don't think it was handled perfectly but mostly because of the lag time, I was really frustrated that I'd contact them and it would take days if not weeks to get back to me. I'm annoyed that they never admitted they messed up royally but I'm sure that's a function of their law team.
