I did the exact same thing and totally had a green seedy poop. The green was from all bm...it was peanut buttery before that. It went back to normal after a poop or too (his was not liquid).

Ok thanks guys. I was just worried bc it looked like I dumped a can of pea soup in his diaper! So green, so much, so explosive!!! Things have calmed down a bit since then :)

Breastmilk is a natural laxative, so it's probably likely that it's just pushing everything though so to speak. Green is a totally normal colour for breast milk poop and really nothing to worry about.

The green may be from the formula. My LO is formula fed and had lots of green poops...pedi said it was from the iron in the formula and not to worry at all. So, I bet it's just working through your LO's system...? :)

It's everyone's favorite topic - poop! After supplementing a few days with 50-50 formula / breastmilk, we returned to all BM last night. This morning poop # 1 was a horrible totally full liquid green diaper. Poop #2 was a slightly less horrible but still terrible greenish seedy blowout! Is his tummy just readjusting to all BM? I seem to remember this green color from when my milk first came in?? Would you just wait it out a few days and see if things firm up a bit / go back to the good old days of yellow poop?

As a side note, we are away from home and I now know to travel with laundry stain remover and many paper towels. Loccitane hand soap was not meant to be wasted on diarrhea.
