Thanks ladies! I took a warm bath last night, and there's not been any more bleeding today. I can tell I'm super irritated, so I may have to look into some Colace. I already take Citrucel fiber and eat fibrous food and yogurt daily, so stool softener may be the way to go. I'm hoping that once I don't need Zoloft anymore, this may resolve itself for a few months...but maybe not.

@Sugar.Biscuit: thank you :) And I know!!!! Insanity.

I actually had incredibly painful internal ones (which isn't even supposed to happen) and hydrocortisone suppositories are the only thing that helped. I also take colace every day.

I had these!!! I ate more fiber (started eating two Fiber One bars a day) and that helped. I noticed that if I missed the extra fiber one day, it would be bad! Booo!!

For me, second trimester was the worst when it came to hemorrhoids and constipation. I want to say things got better third trimester (a little) until the very end when it got bad again. But AMAZINGLY as soon as baby was born, the constipation was GONE! It was AWESOME.

Good luck to you!!! :)

Slightly different, but I had really had constipation for a few weeks. My doctor recommended taking a magnesium supplement, he said it is fine for the baby. I have added 1 400mg supplement per day along with my prenatal. I also try to add 1-2tbs flax seeds to my daily yogurt. Both have helped tremendously and I like that they are natural.

I didn't get them until after pregnancy, but stool softeners were seriously my best friend. Tuck's pads helped too with the discomfort, but going to the bathroom seriously made me cry when I wasn't on the stool softeners! I hope they clear up soon for you.

First off yay to being almost 12 weeks! I did a happy dance for you when I read that! I second miralax! I've been on it for the last 2 years now for my ibs & have had to double my dosage at least once if not twice a week. It's amazing! You can ask for a cheap RX or get it OTC. If you have an RX you can claim it on taxes but not if you buy it OTC. Those dollars add up come tax season!

ETA: dannon activa may help as well as a small bowl of fiber cereal. I had to drop the activa during pregnancy cause it had the reverse affect on me. i wouldnt start all those at once though ;-)

Colace is safe for pregnancy. I took them throughout to make sure that I didn't face constipation. If you are uncertain, ask your doctor.

@blackbird: that's good to know, thank you. I had a scope about 5 years ago (which I know is a long time now) and there were no issues. I'm assuming it's the constipation. I'm going to go soak in the bathtub now to see if I can make the throbbing go away.

@DillonLion: thanks lady. Water is my new best friend, but I could probably stand to drink more of it.

No advice. Just stay hydrated and take stool softeners (if they are safe for pregnancy) I had them bad bad bad during postpartum.

I have them-have for years. My GI doc says if they don't hurt, theres nothing to do. Miralax helps a lot! Mine haven't gone away that I know of....hard to know without being scoped

So I might have an internal hemorrhoid...lovely, no?

I noticed a little blood on the TP this afternoon, and it's definitely not vaginal. I've also been crazy constipated, thanks to my good friend Zofran, so it seems logical to me.

Did this happen to you? How long did it take to go away? For reference, I'm 11w5d today (eek!)
