As far as I understand Strep is one of those bacteria that’s naturally present on the body and fluctuates from day to day. I took an antibiotic late in my second pregnancy and wondered if that made a difference but pretty clear from above it just comes and goes! My OB said the bacteria in our bodies is constantly changing so thats why they wait to test you for it later in pregancy.
