Thanks ladies, I ended up putting some hydrogen peroxide on it a couple times yesterday and that seemed to help a bit, it wasn't any bigger by the end of the day. Mine gets incredibly hard to the touch and really hot, and sometimes the skin surrounding it gets really hot also. There's really nothing I can do about it other than to do my best to avoid getting bit in the first place, or so the doctor says. I usually use a benedryl anti-itch cream. I've found that the more you scratch them, the more they spread/longer they last. Best is a coffee mug with hot water heated up in te microwave and hold the mug to the spot. It feels soothing and helps draw out some of the liquid. I have nasty reactions to bug bites, but I've never had one get that big though. That sometimes helps my big bites. Some mosquitoes produce worse reactions. The ones with the white dots (I think?) are especially reactive for me. I think he finds it itchy, but I can't see it growing that much from itching. </p> <p>Any advice on how to make this go down, or even if maybe it looks like something other than a bug bite?
