I guess it's a relatively new thing in my state.</p> <p>I personally am not sure that buses are safer with seat belts... especially if there's only one adult on the entire bus (the bus driver). That said, I have to admit that it's shocking (literally) how bad the suspension is on the bus! If I wasn't wearing a seatbelt, I could well have hit my head on the ceiling when we went over some of the potholes we hit!!</p> <p>Growing up, did your school bus have seatbelts? What about your local school buses now? </p>
