@Meridian: whoops I never replied! She's almost 3.5 mo. And sometimes her naps are only 20 min (my bad today, ran the garbage disposal and I guess she wasn't asleep enough!) but getting to that nap was so much easier than things used to be! Of course now we're dealing with a new nanny and our LO who apparently hates anyone not related to us, so she was held for her nap with the nanny when she passed out from exhaustion from crying for 1.5 hrs straight...But napped beautifully (though short) for me when I got home!

@MenagerieMama: So funny! How old is your LO? Consistent crib sleeping sounds like a wonderful dream to me :silly:

Lol my dd slept 7-7 two nights ago for the first time ever (10.5 mos) and I was sad and hoped it wasn't a trend lol! My husband thought I was crazy (probably am) for being happy she woke up for a MoTN feeding last night lol

I get it. We night trained and nap trained and while there are great things about that (having a bit of time to myself, being able to leave the house on weekends while my husband stays with her, improved sleep for her I think)... gosh she was cute sleeping on me. I definitely miss it sometimes. And when she has a rough night and needs a bit of rocking I sort of don't mind..... :)

I know exactly what you mean about missing holding your LO. I nap trained my LO over a month ago and he naps so well in his crib now. Sometimes at night when he's been sleeping for a while I pick him up just to hold my sleeping baby in my arms. :silly: But I don't miss wearing him ALL day. Its funny now that I vaguely remember how hard those first few weeks were.

It just seemed like yesterday when I was so concerned because my LO would only sleep while I was wearing her. And now she will really only nap in her crib, and just this week has been semi-consistently falling asleep on her own instead of me rocking or nursing her to sleep. But I miss it! I miss the snuggles and time holding her - she hasn't been hard to get to sleep that way in a while. Please remind me how hard it used to be and that I should be thankful she's getting to this point! I'm just missing my snuggly baby!! I guess that's why she was up every 2 hrs last night, to give me more quality time :silly:
