Some toddlers self-wean at that point because they don't like the taste of the colostrum. We'd been just nursing once a day, in the mornings, for quite awhile, and I got the feeling he wasn't getting much milk. Then he didn't want to for a couple days in a row, and now it's been maybe 4-5 days straight? So I guess it's official... at 18 months he's off the boob. I feel kind of sad but it was inevitable. I guess I can try and enjoy having my boobs to myself for the next 4 months.... </p>
