We did a big party for age 1 and 3 and have had 40-50 people at each. For age 2 we did a party out of town at my LOs grandparents, and there were maybe 20. It has always been mostly adults so far, but there were about 10 kids at the 3rd birthday party. That was the most so far.

For LO's first birthday we invited a million people. We had about 40 adults and 10 kids (wide range).

For her second birthday, we only invited "little friends" so it was about 8 LOs and about 12 parents in addition to us because some of the LOs came with just mom, not dad.

Our usual guest list consists of 55 people. 7 of those are friends (including their kids) and the rest are family. Ratio of kids to adults is about 1:5 if all invited guests attend. For LO's 5th birthday party we were crazy enough to invite his classmates... in our house... yeah, crazy times.

We have a large family; as in all of our parents come from families with 4 or more siblings. So that means for every LO's birthday we typically invite 60+ people that are family and then 10 close family friends. There's lots of kids now so I will say the kid:adult ratio is 1:4.

How many people do you usually invite to birthday parties for your kids? What is usually the ratio of adults to kids?

We invite an insane number of people, it's all family. The ratio of kids to adults is maybe 1:6 for us.
