I've lived in states with gun friendly laws, have plenty of military family members who have a healthy respect for hunting and guns, our roommates have owned guns (when we had roommates prior to kids).<br /> I do not want to see someone with a gun walking into a school. I don't care if it's a parent, I don't know the person or their intention and frankly the school probably doesn't have all the parents memorized either. The gun laws are the one thing I'm struggling most with right now. I know a lot of parents that don't keep their guns locked up, just "hidden." Also, one mom that I know felt the need to bring her gun to the park- had it tucked in the back of her pants and her shirt rode up and I saw it. Someone else brought their gun to a 1st birthday party but it was in a holster. But he does have a holster, its just a small slim one that maybe wouldn't be noticed by someone who doesn't understand guns. He always wears his shirt untucked though, so no one should see the gun.
