For him 3-5. I don't drink during the week. DH will have one or two a night since he travels for week. I also had a cocktail most weekends, followed by red wine. We had 2-3 glasses of red wine 99% of evenings and had no trouble conceiving (and we’re 30 and 46, so not youngsters!). </p> <p>OB just said not to binge drink while TTC, but for my own health, nothing to do with TTC. He was a lot tipsier than I was, so I can tell you it had no impact. lol Besides, isn't that the good old fashioned way to get pregnant? lol. However, I don't know how much it takes to have such an impact and I suspect that the impact is greater in conjunction with other factors. TTC isn't only about the woman, though. It's equally about the sperm. When we were TTC, my DH changed up all kinds of behaviours including vitamins and zinc, not sitting with a laptop on his lap (the heat kills the spermies) and cutting down on alcohol. The month we got lucky, we had both decided not to drink at all.
