They have toys and movies playing in the room and one attendant is in there. There are never more than 5 kids in there at once, though, and it is a small room. There is a separate baby area for non-walkers and always at least one designated infant worker. If he cries they help him. Sometimes they let him do tummy time and other babies might also. If there are a lot of kids they separate the babies and the bigger kids (2 rooms). They never let anything bad happen. Now, I don't think my kid would stay but if he did I'm not sure I would want him to. </p> <p>Do you take your kid to these types of places? How are they watched? What do they do?</p> <p>I watched the workers there yesterday and everytime I saw them they were talking to each other or in general had their backs to the kids. Is this what I should expect at these kinds of drop in places? My son doesn't go to daycare, he goes to preschool and a SAHM friend for daycare. Would you say something to the gym about it? Would this matter to you? Or should I let it go and try to take him anyway? </p>
