Not a fan of my gym etc. I'm probably biased since I was a gymnast but I prefer classes at a "real" gym. I find them a better value for the $.

We tried Gymboree, but b/c we won't be going during the week, it wasn't really worth it for us to get a membership.

We did gymboree with DS1 for six months or so. It was really hard though because the Saturday AM class only had two other kids... and then the weeknight one was too close to bedtime (although we went for two months trying this schedule).

I've been taking DS to Mygym for 2 years (since he was 4 months). We have always done the classes. They've always had age appropriate activities and skills. We go to open gym once in a while.

We've been doing My Gym for almost 1.5 years, since he was about 16 months old. It's great for him to expend the energy, and it's a good cold weather activity. The 2-3 free play time slots we go to per week in addition to his class make it worth the cost. He's really shown an aptitude for physical things like that, so we're thinking of switching him to actual gymnastics classes at 3, this summer.

We did Gymboree through Level 2, but once my kids were old enough for Level 3 (when they could only go to one class per week), it wasn't worth the money for us. It was pretty costly... I think close to $70 a month for one kid? Totally not worth it to us.

Did/do you take your baby to baby gym classes? Or do you attend more "open gym" sessions?

LO 3 is gonna be 6 months old soon and I am trying to find some fun stuff to do when my older LOs are in preschool!
