I shave and have to use a mirror in the shower. Only way I can see what's going on. (29 weeks today) I've never waxed and just don't want to start now, it works pretty well! I only do this maybe once or twice a week!

I hate the feeling of hair so much, I was fully groomed until I gave birth. After healing I couldn't wait to fully wax again but that took time, the skin is still way more sensitive than it was before.

Does your DH have a beard trimmer? If so, he could trim you up pretty easily...mine does this for me, even with no bump. I find it so much easier than trimming myself before shaving, and I'm terrified of waxing.

DH helped shave because I was too lazy to go out to get waxed. I used to get brazilian waxes all the time before I got pregnant. I'm almost 18 weeks along and will probably schedule a waxing in the next few weeks!

I have a shick (sp?) trimmer. I use it with a handheld mirror now lol. As far as the bikini line..I gave up because I ended up with painful-ugly ingrown hairs that I couldnt even see to fix :(

I worried about this too but ultimately I just left it natural. I tried trimming it once or twice but gave up in the end. Doctors definitely dont care if thats what you are worried about and when i had my semi-emergency c-section they shaved me

How do you deal with the hair "down there" during pregnancy? I used to shave, but now my belly is too big to see around. I finally got a maternity swim suit and want to hit the pool so something needs to happen. I've thought about getting a bikini wax, but I've never had one before and I'm not sure now is a good time to start! Ideas? Experiences?
