My skin is too sensitive for much else! I can't imagine regrowth right after birth. That being said, I'm trying to keep it a little neater, but I think that's just the interwebs fault for convincing me I'm not normal! I never fully shave anything (besides landscaping the bikini area). I don't plan on changing it up at all for L&amp;D either. They hospital staff would never comment on your hair situation down there in a judgmental way, they've seen it all. Like even if I was up on my usual they would have needed those clippers. I'm really good at it! I know it really doesn't matter but for me I felt much better going in that way. It worked out great for me because my episiotomy required a million stitches (down to the muscle!) so I wasn't able to ladyscape for a really long time afterwards. </p> <p>side note: DH made fun of me for getting my nails done, saying that no one would notice. After I got my epidural I sent MIL a text saying they could come visit...and they just ended up staying for the whole thing! I was drugged up enough after the epi that I didn't care, and then when it stopped working I was too focused on the back contractions to even really be aware of anyone or anything else (except DH.
