It isn't cheap but I can tell the difference between professional and non-professional grade and similar to you, I have a lot of hair - even my stylist tells me it takes forever to dry my hair because I have so much of it. I use this Elchim: http://amzn.com/B0007WZ7YU

@mrs. bird: thanks!! I'll most likely buy this one, if it's in stock, if I can't find the T3. I need one for tonight. My hair doesn't air dry and with this heat, I need to wash my hair tonight, haha

@MsLipGloss: thank you!! I wonder if they have it at a Sally Beauty... will check tonight. Same mall as my Target store. :)

@Mrs. Pen: I saw a Chi at TJMaxx last night for $49 clearance. The box looked opened so I looked inside and someone had switched it out with a Conair dryer!

i have this one! it's a remington & i bought it at target, so i assume they still have it. it dries my hair soooo much faster than the conair or revlon ones i've used, even one of my BFFs who's a stylist has used it when he's blown my hair out for me at home & he said it was pretty great for a cheap non pro one.

@rachiecakes: I'm jealous of your sons hair!!

I bought a chi when it was on sale at ulta for $99- and it has made a huge difference! It used to take me 25-30 mins too, but now my dry time is usually around 30 minutes. And it's easier to do more of a blowout and keep it smooth. I love it!

@rachiecakes: The only hair dryer that has reduced my drying time (to about 10-15 minutes) is the T3.

My hair dryer died the other night :(

Can anyone recommend a good one that I can get from say, Target?
I can't tell the difference between a good one and a not so good one. I have very thick hair that takes a good 30 minutes to blow dry.
