I can't remember exactly, I want to say maybe around 3 mo pp? but I was diagnosed by my OB/GYN @ 4 mo pp when they found a goiter (which was aggravated by taking fenugreek for lactation!). My hairdresser confirmed the bold spots at 5 mo pp and she gave me a special shampoo system for thinning hair. I think it really improve (basically stopped) by 10 mo pp which is when my case was taken over by an endocrinologist (irony is hair loose can also be a side effect of levothyoxine but once my body got used to it and on the right dose it stopped). Ends up that I had an undiagnosed thyroid condition.
