The hair loss really accelerated after the birth, I would say for about 6 months. I am still growing it out at 16 months, but I am keeping it short to compensate for now. I had serious postpartum hair loss starting when LO turned 3 months old and it didn't stop until around 6 months postpartum. Now, it's all growing back and my hair looks awful. I am starting to see handfuls of hair again already. I probably lose about 30 hairs a shampoo every morning now. I was losing about one or two hairs per shampoo in my first and second trimesters.
